SAN DIEGO, Calif., February 22, 2008 This year the Design and Verification Conference (DVCon)was held February 19-21 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California. DVCon is the premier conference for functional design and verification of digital electronic systems. The conference has grown from its days as user groups focused on HDLs to a full-fledged conference, featuring the latest technology, techniques, standards and methods. The conference had a record number of attendees as well as the largest number of exhibitors in its history. QThink was represented by Charlie Kahle and Don Ticarich who manned our exhibition booth.
Several sessions and vendor presentations at DVCon were dedicated to Open Verification Methodology (OVM). Both Cadence and Mentor Graphics have contributed technology and resources to develop the foundation of the methodology and class libraries, and this is also a key methodology for QThink’s expanding verification business.

SAN DIEGO,
Calif., January 20, 2006 --QuantumThink Group, Inc., (QThink) a
leading pure-play full-service IC design services company, announced
that it has named Urban Jangren as Vice President in charge of its
San Diego Design Center. This move expands on QThink’s strategy of
aligning with its client base at locations around the world, and
follows recent announcements of new design centers in Austin, Texas
and Bangalore, India.
Mr. Jangren has
over 25 years of experience in the IC design field, most recently in
a management role at Intel, along with previous management
experience at Unisys and Cadence. He started his career as an
engineer at Ericsson, and his experience spans detailed IC design
engineering, plus extensive project and product management. Mr.
Jangren received his MSEE degree from Chalmers University of
Technology in Sweden and has also completed the Management and
Leadership Program at the University of California, San Diego.
The addition of
Mr. Jangren further solidifies QThink’s position as the premier
pure-play IC design services provider, and strengthens its global
management team. “Mr. Jangren is a seasoned veteran, and brings
considerable IC design and design services experience with him. Mr.
Jangren complements the existing management team at our San Jose,
Austin and Bangalore Design Centers, and positions us for continued
growth in the San Diego market. We are very excited to have an

Continues to Expand its Market Leadership by Opening an Austin

– QuantumThink Group Inc., (QThink®) a worldwide leader in pure-play
full-service IC design services, today announced that it has opened
a design center in Austin, TX. This center will include the full
spectrum of front-to-back design services that QThink offers at its
other design centers, and is being staffed with experienced sales
and design personnel. To jumpstart the design efforts in Austin,
QThink has complemented its existing Austin-based sales presence
with a senior design and program management resource that has
relocated from QThink’s headquarters in San Diego. QThink will
further grow its design presence in Austin by tapping into the
extensive pool of engineering talent in the region.

strengthened its global presence by opening a design center in
Bangalore, India. Headed by Sundar Raman, an industry veteran who
joined QThink in their San Diego design center in 2001, the new
design center will house a team of experienced engineers who will
expand QThink’s design presence across the globe. The Bangalore
design center will complement QThink’s existing design centers in
San Diego and San Jose, California.
